The Great Chiltern Come and Sing “Carmina Burana”
Tring Choral Society is pleased to announce an extra concert on Saturday 28 September, which is a collaboration with the Chiltern Society. We are holding a day’s workshop for singers from the Chilterns, singing Carl Orff’s popular cantata, ‘Carmina Burana’. This day will culminate with an informal concert from 6pm to 7pm at Deans Hall in the historic setting of Berkhamsted School.
We will be conducted by Tring Choral Society’s very-own Musical Director, Colin Stevens, and joined by professional soloists, Katherine Gregory (Soprano), Philip Hayes (Tenor), Thomas Isherwood (Baritone), accompanied by two pianists and five percussionists.
Please come along to support this fundraiser for the choir and Chiltern Society. Tickets are £10 and under 18s are free. You can buy your ticket online here or on the night at the door.
